Bored and broke?
Here are a list of 10 potential awesome
things to do with friends – without having to pull a bank job!

#1 PowerPoint Party
Powerpoint nights can be super silly resulting in super fun times. You can pick a theme or everyone can just present any point of their choosing.
How it works issssss:
Step 1. Get your friends to agree to a powerpoint party
Step 2. Create your powerpoint
Step 3. Gather at the host’s house
Step 4. Set up the TV or projector
Step 5. Present your powerpoints
Step 6. Snack, party and enjoy!
Remember, planning and prepping is key!

#2 Make a Time Capsule
Making a time capsule can be loads of fun!
Grab a tin container, or even just a shoe box (depending on where you plan to hide it) and fill it with photos and letters to your future-selves. You can also add trinkets, keepsakes, anything that you’d like to have as little memories one day. Once you’re done, decide where to hide it away, and when you’d like to open it again. And there you have it, a bit of time stuck in a box!

#3 Pizza & BoardGame Night
Order some pizzas OR make them from scratch, grab your favourite board game and enjoy a peaceful evening, OR perhaps intense (depending on the game and your friends). You can also put on some music, maybe get some other snacks, anything you want to add to the fun!

#4 Mini Olympics
Like a little competition? WELL this is a must try. Create your own mini olympics.
Select a few sports/games you’d like to have in your olympics. Round up a few of your friends, ( 5 or more people would probably work best for this but I’m sure you can make it work with fewer people) pick a judge/referee and there you go!
If you want to be a bit extra you can get a prize for the winner, design your own olympic logo. You can also let the ‘contestants’ represent different countries, perhaps each of you can wear your chosen country’s colours or everyone can bring a dish from their represented country and you can enjoy a post olympic feast together.
Get creative with it. Remember, it is your olympics!

#5 Night Picnic
One of my bucket list items, a picnic under the stars holds the possibility of being an incredible experience.
Imagine this: you and your friends, under the stars enjoying a fabulous picnic, perhaps with some fairy lights and good music.
Surely a night to remember!

#6 Have a Challenge Day
It can be epic to conquer a challenge with friends.
Pic something you want to achieve and face it together.
For example, I was super scared to go rock- climbing. There was this particular spot that I’ve attempted climbing before and I chickened out. For months I wanted to go back and give it another go, but this time I didn’t want to go alone. I know, I know. I shouldn’t go climbing alone in the first place. Anyways I asked my friend to come along and because of the challenge faced together I conquered.
The challenge for your challenge day can be literally anything. It can be a 10 kilometer hike, or a horse riding lesson, perhaps you and your friends want to learn how to make pasta from scratch. ANY CHALLENGE. It is an awesome feeling to overcome a challenge and it’s ten times the fun with friends by your side!

#7 Artsy Day
Enjoy an artsy day with your friends. Join an art class, or perhaps just have a paint day at home.
You can even pretend to be famous artists, with classical music playing, sipping tea together while you work on your masterpieces.
Creating art and being creative and crazy with friends can create magical moments.

#8 Go Volunteer
Help your community together!
Find out where your can be a volunteer in your area and give back to the community. This is an awesome way to spend time with friends and you can learn so much while volunteering!
You can also bake something and donate it to an old-age home, an orphanage or well anyone!

#9 Build a Bonfire
Roasted marshmallows waiting to be smores, music dancing with the flames, laughter floating up towards the sky chasing the smoke. What an atmosphere! A bonfire night always promises a good time- PLEASE JUST BE CAREFUL AND TAKE PROPER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.

#10 Cake Decorating Competition – with a TWSIT
Baking is always fun. But a bake off? Well now that is bound to be epic.
You and your friend are going to see who can decorate the best, HOWEVER, there is only 1 cake between the two of you.
Using icing in a piping bag, pipe a line dividing the cake in half. Then take turns decorating the cake each getting 45 minutes to an hour.
Maybe get someone else to judge the cake, OR you can get your house to vote anonymously.
Then once the winner has claimed their victory, cut and enjoy!
And there you go. 10 fun things you can do without having to worry about murdering you piggy bank.
Which one of the activities sounded exciting to you?
